Liz Horvath

Manager, Workplace Mental Health, Mental Health Commission of Canada

Liz is a consultant and international speaker with more than 25 years of experience in health and safety.  She has a deep understanding of human needs and implementation of management systems, which she has used to help numerous organizations improve their results. Specializing in workplace mental health, Liz helps clients to achieve their goals with minimal risk of physical and psychological harm.  In 2016, Liz was honoured for her part in helping to evolve workplace mental health in Canada as CSA Group Project Manager, where she led the development of the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, the first of its kind in the world.  In her current role as Manager, Workplace Mental Health, with the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Liz is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Canadian workers and their families by supporting organizations with building psychologically healthy, safe, and productive workplaces where people can flourish.
