Lika Leshchenko

Head of Health & Safety, ECAN at Lafarge Holcim

Lika is an Eastern Canada Head of Health and Safety for Larfage Holcim. She is a senior safety professional with experience in manufacturing, transportation operations, regulatory compliance, environment and strategic planning. Proven track record of significant contribution to safety culture improvement, reduction of lost time injuries and motivating a senior safety team.

She has over 13 years of working experience in occupational and operational safety. She led company-wide safety turnarounds at both Bombardier and Metrolinx and played a role in leading Root Cause Analysis investigations, Operational Risk Assessments, various external and internal audits and other activities geared towards reducing the level of risk within the organization.

Lika has an Occupational Safety degree from Ryerson University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business. She also has many years serving as an ISO and BSI Lead Auditor and a Train Operations Certificate from CN Rail.
