Upstream SSHE Functional Planner and Analytics Advisor, ExxonMobil OE-SSHE Planning Data and Analytics

Anne Guinard is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with Imperial Oil, currently working in Houston on an expatriate assignment as a SSHE Planning and Analytics Advisor for the
Upstream Oil and Gas organization. Anne graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Medical Science in Microbiology and Immunology and a Master’s of Science in Physiology. After graduation from Western, she continued her studies at Ryerson University graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Health and Safety.

Anne was hired directly out of the Ryerson program in 2009 by Imperial Oil in a Safety Advisor position supporting the upstream conventional oil and gas operations. During her time with Imperial she has been exposed to various roles and work scopes ranging from contractor engagement, safety culture assessment, safety leadership training, safety management systems oversight, through to corporate office safety initiatives and recruitment. She has worked in advisor, team lead and supervisor roles within the Safety, Security, Health and Environment department in conventional and oil sands operations and is currently in a SSHE Planning role with ExxonMobil.She continues to explore learning in all areas of SSHE while moving through both technical and managerial roles.
